untitled 829

My heart is a lump of coal,
Black and cold in the
middle of my heavy chest.

And my life is damp,
Dripping with the dew
of a winter morning.

At least, it was.

Your heart, your warm,
Uplifting heart set mine
Afire, with a small flame

A flame of passion and
Desire, a flame that engulfed
My heart in its entirety

Breathing life into me
Causing me to live and feel
And like and want and do and

Love.

This flame still burns, burns
The old heart of mine,
Creating something new

A new, happy, passionate
Heart overfilled with love
From you and wanting to
Stay that way.

Through and through,
I'll always love you.
